Lincord is a product of Organikode. Organikode is operated by Yun-Chi Hsiao (ABN 88 490 922 768), a sole trader based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. On this page “Lincord”, “Organikode”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator.
Lincord holds the records a main contractor keeps about steel: the parts, the operations that produced them, and the documents that prove it. Most of that is about steel, not people. This page says what personal information it does involve, what we do with it, and what you can ask of us. We handle it under the Australian Privacy Principles.
Whose records they are
An organisation that uses Lincord decides what goes into its projects, and we hold those records on its behalf. If you appear in an organisation's records — as a provider, an inspector, or a name on a certificate — that organisation is the one to ask first. We will help it answer you.
What we collect
- If you ask for a demo: your name, company, work email and anything you write in the message.
- If you email or call us: what you tell us, and your contact details.
- If you have an account: your name, email address, organisation and role. Your password is held by our sign-in provider and we never see it. Every change you make is recorded with your name and the time, because the record of who did what is part of the evidence.
- If you open a share link: the name and email address you give when you open it, when you opened it, your IP address and your browser's user agent. Anything you record through a link that can write is attributed to that name.
- In project records: drawings, certificates, photos and logs can carry people's names, signatures or likenesses. The organisation decides what is uploaded.
- At sign-in: Cloudflare Turnstile reads signals from your browser to tell a person from a bot.
What we do with it
- Run Lincord: sign you in, show each person what their role and links allow, and keep the record.
- Send the emails the product sends: invitations, sign-in and password emails, and share links.
- Answer enquiries, arrange demos, and invoice the organisations we work for.
- Keep the service secure, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, show advertising, or use analytics or tracking tools. We do not use an organisation's records for anything except providing Lincord to it.
Who can see it
- People at your organisation, as their role allows.
- People your organisation shares a project with through a link: view-only or able to record, scoped to one project, and revocable at any time. The organisation can see who opened its links.
- The service providers below, only to provide their service to us.
- Anyone the law requires us to disclose it to.
Where it is kept
Your records, drawings, certificates and accounts are stored in Sydney, Australia, and stay there. To deliver pages, send email and receive demo requests, some information passes through providers that may handle it outside Australia, including in the United States:
- Supabase — the database, sign-in and stored files, in Sydney.
- Vercel — hosts the website and the app and carries each request through its network.
- Resend — sends Lincord's email; it handles the recipient's address and the message.
- Formspree — receives the demo request form and forwards it to us.
- Cloudflare — runs the sign-in check.
We use providers who commit to protecting the information they handle.
How long we keep it
Lincord is a record that cannot quietly change, so nothing that is evidence is deleted. Records, logs, documents, the history of who changed what, and the record of who opened each share link are kept for as long as the organisation's account lasts, including its view-only archive. Removing something marks it removed rather than erasing it. Demo requests and emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with you.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it, by writing to support@lincord.app. Where it sits in an organisation's project records we pass your request to that organisation. Because a record is evidence, a correction is added alongside what was there rather than written over it.
Cookies and storage
There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Signing in keeps your session in your browser's storage, and the sign-in check may store what it needs to work.
Security
Each organisation's records are walled off from every other's in the database itself, not only in the app. Data travels encrypted, and only the people who run Lincord can reach it outside the app.
Changes to this page
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change matters to account holders, we email the owner of each organisation.
