Terms of use
Last updated · 17 Oct 2026
Lincord is a product of Organikode. Organikode is operated by Yun-Chi Hsiao (ABN 88 490 922 768), a sole trader based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. On this page “Lincord”, “Organikode”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator.
These terms
These terms apply to everyone who uses lincord.app: the organisations we provide Lincord to, the people they invite, anyone who opens one of their share links, and anyone visiting the site. Using Lincord means you accept them.
An organisation's order sets its price, its projects and anything particular to it. Where the order and these terms differ, the order wins.
Accounts
- Lincord is invite-only. An organisation's owner and admins decide who has an account.
- One login is one person. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it.
- The organisation is responsible for what its people do in Lincord.
Share links
- Anyone who has a share link can use it as far as it allows, without an account. Pass a link on as you would the project's own papers, and revoke it when it is no longer needed.
- The organisation is responsible for whom it shares a link with.
- If you open a link, give your own name and email. What you record through it is recorded as yours.
Your records
- The records, drawings, certificates and photos an organisation puts into Lincord are its own. It gives us the right to store them, process them and show them to the people it lets see them, to provide Lincord, and for nothing else.
- You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that nothing in it is unlawful or infringes anyone's rights.
- A record is evidence. Nothing that is evidence is deleted, and a correction is added alongside what was recorded rather than written over it. We do not change an organisation's records except where the law requires it.
Fees
Lincord is priced per project, as set out in the organisation's order, and invoiced. Payment is due as the invoice says. Fees change only by a new order.
Using Lincord properly
Do not:
- use Lincord for anything unlawful;
- try to reach another organisation's records, or any part of Lincord your role or link does not allow;
- interfere with the service, upload malicious code, or overload it;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer Lincord.
The site, the software, the name and the design are ours.
What Lincord is not
Lincord keeps the record of what was made and what proves it. It does not replace engineering judgement, inspection, testing or the certification a contract or standard requires, and the organisation remains responsible for meeting those. We work to keep Lincord available and its records exact, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted.
Ending
- An organisation can end its use of Lincord as its order allows.
- We may suspend or end access for a serious breach of these terms or for unpaid invoices, after telling the organisation's owner and giving it a reasonable chance to put things right, unless the breach puts the service or other people at risk.
- To talk about a copy of an organisation's records, write to support@lincord.app.
Liability
Nothing here excludes a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where such a guarantee applies and the law allows, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, revenue or data, and our total liability for a project is limited to the fees paid for that project in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms by emailing each organisation's owner at least thirty days before the change takes effect; a change the law requires may take effect sooner. An organisation that does not accept a change may end its use of Lincord before it does.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria hear any dispute.
